Setup MFA

Setup 2FA for your accouNT

The following steps will allow you to setup 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication) security for your account.  This will ensure that no-one outside of yourself will be able to log into the account.  While we encourage you to choose strong passwords, even if someone has your password they will not be able to log in as you without having the randomly generator 6-digit code manifested by your 2FA app, either Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator – assuming of course that you have enabled and setup Two-Factor authentication setup on your account.

To setup 2FA follow these steps:

a. Log into your account first by clicking on Parent Corner and then selecting Log In and log into your account.

b. Once you are logged in, go back to Parent Corner and click on Edit Account Profile.  If you are not already logged in, and try to click on the Edit Account Profile first, you will be informed that you are required to log in first before you are able to make any changes.  Once the edit profile page comes up, scroll all the way to the bottom and tick Activate on Two-Factor Authentication  as noted below:

c. This will present additional options as noted below. Next, you’ll want to click on QR Code, this will expand and provide you with a QR Code.  At this time, use either your Google Authentication App or Microsoft Authenticator App (both of which, depending on your phone brand/type, can be found and downloaded from the Apple Appstore or the Google Playstore for FREE).  Open the app of choice (Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator) and scan the provided QR Code on the screen.

NOTE: The shown QR CODE below is ONLY a SAMPLE, do not scan this in, you will be given a unique QR CODE when you are setting up 2FA on YOUR account.

d. Once you scan the QR Code, the app will present you with a 6-digit code.  Type that code on the Verify TOTP (Time Based One Time Password) and click on Check.  If you type in the correct code, you you will be presented with a Valid notice as depicted below.  At this time, your 2FA is all setup, click on Update to save your settings.

Two-Factor Authentication is now setup on your account.  Next time you log in, after typing your username/email and correct password you will be prompted for a 6-digit code.  Refer to your app (Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator) for the code to type in.

That’s it, you’re all set.

Try it now!
